Pêche à la mouche Sava Bohinjka Slovénie
Voici notre Sava Bohinjka! Une rivière et ses alentours qui sans cesse nous enchantent et nous surprennent.
Y pêcher est un défi tant pour le débutant que pour le pêcheur expérimenté.
La Sava Bohinjka prend sa source dans la région des Sedmera Jezera du massif du Triglav. La vallée des lacs du Triglav finit en amont de Komarča, formant en aval la cascade de Savica (71 m. de hauteur). D’une altitude de 79 m. part une autre petitie cascade d’une hauteur de 25 m. La rivièere en aval de Komarča continue son cours en tant que Savica et se jette dans le lac de Bohinj. Au sortir du lac, à partir du pont, la rivière prend le nom de Jezernica et conflue après 100 m. avec la Mostnica. A cet endroit, elle devient « Sava Bohinja » et continue son cours à travers une vallée étroite entre Jelovica et Pokljuka au dessous d’ Ajdovski Gradec.
La rivière passe après 150 m. à travers une petite gorge, puis coule vers l’est sur les débris d’un glacier jusqu’à Nomenj. Là, elle tourne vers le nord et coule plus loin à travers une gorge formée par un glacier entre Jelovica et Pokluja. Près de Bled, la rivière tourne vers l’est et se joint à la Sava Dolinka, juste après le barrage à Radovljica.
Des bancs de gravier de différentes tailles se trouvent dans le lit de cette rivière, caractéristique de la vallée de la Sava Bohinjka qui a été formée par des glaciers. Entre Bohinjksa Bela et son confluent, on trouve plusieurs bras de rivières d’eau stagnante ainsi que des marécages. En aval du village de Selo pri Bledu, le marécage qui se trouve à 100 m. des berges, offre une grande richesse de plantes aquatiques au milieu desquelles de nombreux animaux y ont choisis leur habitat.
Le cercle de pêche de Bled (RD Bled) administre le secteur de la Sava Bohinjka à partir du barrage de Soteska jusqu’au barrage de Cajhnov à Lancovo, au point où elle conflue avec la Sava Dolinka. La partie de la Sava Bohinjka administrée par le RD Bled a 17 km. de long.

All anglers can find waters of Sava Bohinjka that suits their fly-fishing abilities and inclinations. If you are new to fly-fishing, you can enjoy learning and improving your fishing abilities on the lower stream of Sava Bohinjka . If you are an expert, you can test your stalking and rivercraft skills on the challenging Canyon “Soteska”. Sava Bohinjka also offers natural chalk streams famed for their brown trout and grayling.
The Sava Bohinjka is renowned in the world as the river on which dry fly fishing lasts over the entire season and which can also be implemented at a somewhat higher water level. The fishing season begins on 1 April and ends on 14 November. Fly fishing and fishing with the use of barbless hook are permitted exclusively in the district of Fishing Club Bled; with the exception of Danube salmon fishing in the winter season (between 15 November and 14 February), when spin fishing is also permitted.

Fishing rules:
Fishing is allowed with a fly rod and 1 artificial fly. Either fly, nymph or streamer must not be longer than 5 cm. Barbless hooks only. Fishing is allowed from dawn till dusk. A bite indicator is allowed. Weights in addition to fly line weight, such as split shot and lead weights, prohibited. Fishing from bridges, boats and belly boats is not allowed. Fishing permit without clearly marked date of fly fishing is invalid. Incomplete fishing licence is invalid. You are respectfully requested not to cause any damage to properrty or bank along the river. Do not leave litter. Please park your vehicle in a suitable place.
