DANUBE SALMON SEASON 2009-2010
Dear visitors.
On Sunday,15. November was the official opening of Danube salmon season.
In just 3 days we caught 7 fish (leagal size is 80cm+).The largest measured 107cm,but we know there are bigger fish in our river.
In desire to bring this fish closer to all fishermen who cant fish in our waters we oblegate to publish every picture of a caught Danube Salmon.So we invite you to join our hall of fame.All you need to do is to send a picture and some details (name,second name,lenght,weight,time place,..) on our adress.

HUCHO HUCHO (DANUBE SALMON) SEASON 2009/2010
Licence price: 40 EUR
Fishing is allowed from Soteska dam near Obrne to Cajhen Dam near Lancovo and includes Trophy Part. Catch & release only.
Authorised licence dealers: Fauna Fly Fishing, Cesta svobode 12, Bled or Garni pension "Pr Bevc", Bohinjska Bela 97/a.
Fishing season opens on 15. November and closes on 14. February. Name and second name of an escorting member of the fishing club Bled must allso be presented when buying a licence.

Hucho-hucho fishing season
Dear visitors. We are glad to tell you that new 08/09 Hucho-Hucho (Salmon Danube / Huchen) is almost open. One of the best areas for fishing in latest season - Sava Bohinjka, Bled section starts with the fishing on 15th of November! Over 90 catches of this magnificant specie was caught (and released) last season so we are realy looking forward to new coming season. meeting, which will happen on Saturday, May 10th. You will be able to meet with
our members and experience fish farm work in live. Could be interesting !!! We
meet at Bled club fish-farm (close to the lake at rowing centre) at 8:00 Am! Bring
waders if you have one.

FISHING AND FLY FISHING RULES HUCHO-HUCHO 2006/07
1. Fishing for hucho-hucho (salmon danube) is allowed from 15th of November, till 14th February, on entire district of Sava Bohinjka Bled fishing club, except in TROPHY SECTION (from the bridge in Selo, downstream till the bridge in Ribno). 2. Hucho-hucho fishing is allowed only by purchasing daily fishing permit. Cost of a daily fishing permit is 7.189,00 SIT (Slovenian tolars) or 30,00 EUR. 3. Fishing is allowed from morning dawn untill evening dusk. 4. Fishing for hucho-hucho can be done only with an escort of a fishing guide or other companion, member of Bled fishing club. * During escort, guide or companion is NOT ALLOWED TO FISH. * Guide or companion can escort maximum of 3 (three) fishermans per day. * Distance between participants (guide and his clients) should not be larger than 80 meters. 5. Two fishing systems are allowed; FLY FISHING AND SPINNING: * FLY FISHING: fly fishing rod rank 7 or more with suitable fly reel and line. Tippet should not be thiner than 0,30 mm. Size (lenght) of a streamer fly must be at least 12 cm or larger. * SPINNING: spinning rod with suitable reel. Diameter of fishing line should be at least 0,35 mm or more. Allowed baits are artificial lures with minimum lenght of 10 cm, measuring without hooks or triplet hooks. 6. Hucho-hucho can be taken under following terms: * Fishing guide or companion must in less than 3 (three) hours after capturing, report hucho-hucho taking to authorized persons: see enclosure of fishing license! * Minimum lenght of taken hucho-hucho must be at least 80cm. * Till evaluation and measuring by authorised persons stated above, taken hucho-hucho must remain uncleaned and in one piece. * Compensation for taken hucho-hucho must be done by following price list: 80-99 cm 500,00 EUR , 100+ cm 1.000,00 Eur. HUCHO-HUCHO FISHING ON SAVA BOHINJKA, BLED SECTION
Dear fishing and fly fishing friends. We are glad to announce, that Bled fishing club has decided to offer fishing for the bigest Sava resident - Hucho-hucho (Salmon danube) also to tourist fishermans. After 15th of November, when season opens, you are all welcome to try that adrenalin powered fishing on our wonderful Sava Bohinjka. European fly fishing championship 2006
Because of event stated above, part of Sava Bohinjka from the power station dam in Soteska, untill the bridge at shooting place under Bled, will be closed for fly fishing during period 5.-11.6.2006. ALL OTHER PARTS INCLUDING BLED TROPHY PART WILL BE OPENED FOR FLY FISHING.

New website
After our short absent from internet, we are back with refreshed image of our i.e. page, which will be completed untill end of February 2006. New and refreshed managment of very well known Bled fishing club, has intention to present their hard work with beautifull fly fishing district Sava Bohinjka and excellent carp, pike and pike-perch district Bled lake to wider world fishing public. Rapidly increasing fly fishing tourism in last years, demands new approach of presentation, which internet for sure is. Fishing for Hucho-Hucho
Bled fishing family has plan to capture 5 hucho-hucho (Salmone Danubio) each year. Few years ago, large number of baby hucho-hucho were released in Sava Bohinjka river. Today they measure from 80-100cm and still growing. For now, only members of Bled fishing club have right to fish for h.h. Fishing is allowed from 15.11 - 14.2. At the time of this update, 3 fishes are already caught, bigest one was 97cm, 10.3 kg.
